Girls Golf: Minot Invite
Event Recap
BISMARCK - Legacy set a school record with its 327 team total and the Sabers are one step closer to clinching the program's first WDA regular season title with a victory at the Minot High Invite on Sept. 18. Mandan was runner-up while Century finished third.
Isabella Hale of Mandan returned from injury to earn medalist honors with a score of 75. It was the junior's second event of the season. Rawni Roemmich of Legacy finished second with a 76, while Ella Hogan and Ashlen Larsen tied for third with scores of 78.
The event saw golfers who carded rounds of 90 or better qualify for the state tournament next month. The conditions were cloudy but comfortable, providing an excellent atmosphere for the competition.
