Minot North defeats Bismarck, 7-2

BISMARCK - Minot North won five singles matches en route to a 7-2 triump over Bismarck High in a Western Dakota Association matchup on Sept. 17 at Tom O'Leary Courts. The Sentinels improved to 2-2 in the WDA and 9-4 overall, while the Demons fell to 1-4 in the WDA and 4-10 overall.
Brayden Callahan was instrumental for Minot North, securing a victory at No. 2 singles. He also paired with Colton Griffith to clinch the win at No. 1 doubles, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.
Macsen Knittel showcased resilience with a three-set come-from-behind victory at No. 5 singles for Minot North. On the Bismarck side, Reed Romsaas earned a win at No. 1 singles, and the duo of Quinn Kleser and Seth Peterson triumphed in a three-set match at No. 2 doubles.
Minot North, which as won five-straight dual matches, will face undefeated Mandan (5-0 WDA, 13-0 overall) on September 18, while Bismarck will look to rebound against Jamestown (0-5 WDA, 0-13 overall) on September 22.
