VALLEY CITY - Minot High earned a 7-2 non-conference win in dual that was far closer than the score indicated on Sept. 18 at Valley City HS Courts. The Magicians won five of six singles matches and three of those matches were decided in a super set. Wins in three sets came by Nolan Moore at No. 1 singles; Connor Ressler at No. 2 singles and Aiden Bye at No. 4 singles. Valley City earned a three-set win at No. 3 singles. The other Hi-Liner victory came from an injury default at No. 1 doubles. Minot High improved to 14-1 in non-conference matches.
